Recovery depends on the strength of the immune system.\u201d<\/em><\/font> <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Older and vulnerable people have higher death rates and risk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Boosting your immune system is particularly important for <strong>older people<\/strong>, whose immune system becomes weaker over time, associated with a reduction in the production of T-cells. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Especially vulnerable are those with diabetes, heart conditions, asthma and lung issues, as the coronavirus attacks the respiratory system.
